Signia MaX: keep up when everyone’s talking at once.

Signia’s newest hearing aid platform is built for group conversations, with four AI networks working together on speech, noise, the room around you and the sound of your own voice. At Fidelity Hearing Centre, our independent audiologists will help you decide if Signia is the right fit for your hearing, your ears and the people you want to hear.

Why Signia, with us

A great hearing aid, chosen for you, not for a sales target

Fidelity Hearing Centre is independent and family-owned. We aren’t tied to one manufacturer, so we recommend Signia when it’s genuinely the best match for you, and we’ll tell you when another brand suits you better.

Independent advice

We fit hearing aids from the major manufacturers. Signia is one of the options we compare side by side, based on your test results and goals.

Tested, then fitted

Your fitting starts with a full hearing assessment, and we verify and fine-tune the settings so the sound is right for your ears.

Fitted for your listening life

We tune the settings around the conversations that matter to you — partner, family, grandkids, work and social situations — then refine them from your feedback at follow-up.

Ongoing local care

Adjustments, cleaning and support from the same local team, at our Springwood, Birkdale and Plainland clinics, with remote fine-tuning when it suits you.

How Signia MaX helps in noise

Built for the conversation, not just the person in front of you.

Most hearing aids do well one-on-one. The real challenge is a group: friends talking over each other, grandkids chiming in, someone answering from across the table. Traditional processing turns the noise down and focuses ahead, which can leave other voices behind.

Signia MaX’s Acoustic Intelligence™ runs four deep neural networks at once.** RealTime Conversation Enhancement finds and enhances several conversation partners as the talk moves around. Dynamic Noise Control reduces background noise, Ambient Scene Adaptation reads the setting you’re in, and Own Voice Processing keeps your own voice sounding natural. Your audiologist decides how these features are set up for your hearing and the places you spend your time.

Traditional directionality

Focuses on one person in front and turns down the rest, so group chat can be hard to follow.

Signia MaX

Tracks and enhances several talkers as the conversation moves around the group.**

A family barbecue, with Signia MaX

  1. Everyone’s talking at onceRealTime Conversation Enhancement picks out the people you’re talking with and keeps up as the conversation passes around the group.
  2. The kids are loud in the backgroundDynamic Noise Control reduces the noise between and around voices, so speech stays clear.
  3. You join inOwn Voice Processing handles your own voice separately, so it doesn’t sound loud or boomy to you.
  4. You move inside, then out to the streetAmbient Scene Adaptation and motion sensors help the sound adjust as your surroundings change.
Connectivity & recharging

Stay connected, at home and out and about

Pure Charge&Go MaX connects with Bluetooth® Classic and LE Audio, includes a telecoil for hearing loops, recharges overnight, and the Signia One app puts help in your pocket.

Calls and streaming

Stream calls, music, podcasts and TV audio from compatible iPhone and Android devices. Hands-free calling picks up your voice with the hearing aid microphones, and you can answer or end calls with a press of a button.

Auracast™ & hearing loops

The telecoil works with hearing loops in many venues. Signia MaX is Auracast™ ready, with full Auracast™ broadcast audio planned via a firmware update through the Signia One app in early 2027.

TV & remote control

The Signia TV Streamer sends TV sound straight to your hearing aids, and an optional keychain remote control lets you change volume and programs without your phone.

All-day rechargeable

Pure Charge&Go MaX recharges overnight. Signia’s pocket-size portable charger stores up to four full charges, gives a full charge in four hours, and up to six hours of use from 30 minutes of charging.*

Signia One app & Signia Assistant

Adjust volume and programs, and ask Signia Assistant for help in your own words when something doesn’t sound right. TeleCare lets us fine-tune your hearing aids remotely when a clinic visit isn’t convenient.

Wind, tinnitus & comfort

Wind noise reduction, sound smoothing for sudden sounds, and tinnitus therapy options including Notch Therapy for tonal tinnitus are available at every MaX level.

Signia MaX technology levels

More ways for your audiologist to get you hearing what matters

Signia MaX comes in three technology levels: MaX 7, MaX 5 and MaX 3. The level decides how many features and adjustable parameters your audiologist can access to shape speech in background noise, so you can follow your partner, family and grandkids at home and in the busier places you spend time. MaX 7 gives them all optimisation features. Each step down removes or reduces features from that set, which reduces the options available to obtain the sound and benefit you want in the listening situations that matter to you.

MaX 7
All optimisation features available

Your audiologist can access every Signia MaX feature and parameter to optimise clarity in busy, changing listening situations.

  • Extended bandwidth to 12 kHz and Spatial Configurator
  • 48 channels / 20 handles for fine-tuning, with 3 HD Music presets

MaX 3

  • RealTime Conversation Enhancement and Conversation Booster are reduced further
  • Dynamic AI Focus Streams are removed
  • SpeechFocus, the Reverberant Room program and Spatial Configurator are removed
  • Wind noise reduction is reduced

FAQ

Signia questions

What’s new in Signia MaX?

Signia MaX is Signia’s newest hearing aid platform, launched in 2026. Its Acoustic Intelligence™ runs four deep neural networks together: for group conversations, background noise, the setting you’re in, and your own voice. Signia says the new chip has far more processing power than before while using less energy. Pure Charge&Go MaX is the first hearing aid on the platform.

I already wear Signia IX. Is MaX an upgrade?

MaX is Signia’s next generation after IX. It’s new hardware rather than a software update for IX. If your current Signia hearing aids are still working well, we’re happy to keep looking after them. Ask us whether moving to MaX would make a real difference in the situations you find hardest.

Is Signia MaX available in custom or in-the-ear styles?

Not yet. Signia MaX launches in the Pure Charge&Go MaX receiver-in-canal style. Signia’s custom, instant-fit, behind-the-ear and CROS styles continue on the IX platform, and we’ll let you know if MaX styles are added.

Does Signia MaX work with Auracast™?

Signia MaX is Auracast™ ready. Signia plans to switch on full Auracast™ broadcast audio with a firmware update through the Signia One app in early 2027. Pure Charge&Go MaX also has a telecoil, so it works with hearing loops in venues that have them today.

Will Signia MaX work with my phone?

Pure Charge&Go MaX supports Bluetooth® Classic and LE Audio for streaming and hands-free calls with compatible iPhone and Android devices. The Signia One app needs a recent phone operating system, so we’ll check your phone and pair it with you at your fitting.

Can I get help with the cost?

Eligible pensioners, veterans and some other groups may receive hearing aids through the Australian Government Hearing Services Program, and many private health funds offer rebates on hearing aids. See our Subsidies & rebates page, or ask our team to check for you.

Do you only fit Signia?

No. Fidelity Hearing Centre is independent. We fit hearing aids from several leading manufacturers and recommend whichever one best suits your hearing, ears, budget and lifestyle.
