Smile hearing aids connect directly to most Bluetooth® phones, recharge overnight, and the Remote Plus app lets you fine-tune what you hear and tell us how it’s going.
Calls and streaming
Universal Bluetooth® connectivity streams calls, music, podcasts and TV audio from iPhone, Android and other Bluetooth® phones, with hands-free calls on most phones. Unitron says Smile has up to twice the Bluetooth® range of its previous platform.
Accessories for tough situations
For TV, meetings or a partner across a noisy table, the TV Connector, PartnerMic and Roger™ microphones send sound directly to your hearing aids. A small remote control is also available.
All-day rechargeable
Unitron designs Moxi S-RX for all-day listening, and its datasheet lists an expected operating time of 18 hours on a full charge.* It recharges overnight, with a portable charger option for charging away from a power point.
Remote Plus app & remote care
Adjust volume and programs, use the AI Noise Filter slider on Moxi S-RX, and rate how your hearing aids sound in different places. Your ratings help us fine-tune, and Remote Adjust lets us make changes remotely when a visit isn’t convenient.

Unitron Smile hearing aids come in four technology levels: 9, 7, 5 and 3. The level decides how many features and adjustable parameters your audiologist can access to shape speech in background noise, so you can follow your partner, family and grandkids at home and in the busier places you spend time. Level 9 gives them all optimisation features. Each step down removes or reduces features from that set, which reduces the options available to obtain the sound and benefit you want in the listening situations that matter to you. Moxi S-RX, with SoundSonic360, comes in levels 9 and 7.

What’s new in Unitron Moxi S-RX?
Moxi S-RX is Unitron’s newest hearing aid, launched in Australia in 2026 on the Smile platform. The headline feature is SoundSonic360, which uses a deep neural network on the DEEPSONIC™ chip to separate speech from background noise around you. The Remote Plus app adds an AI Noise Filter slider and optional programs for noisy moments.
Is Moxi S-RX the same as Phonak Infinio Sphere?
They’re related. Unitron and Phonak are both part of Sonova, and Moxi S-RX uses the same DEEPSONIC™ chip that debuted in Phonak Infinio Sphere, with a similar approach to separating speech from noise. The sound processing, app, accessories and how we fine-tune them are Unitron’s own, so the two can sound and feel different. Phonak’s newer EON hearing aids are a separate, later platform. We fit both brands and can compare them for you.
Is SoundSonic360 on every Unitron hearing aid?
No. SoundSonic360 is on Moxi S-RX, at levels 9 and 7. Moxi S-R, the custom Insera styles and levels 5 and 3 still have Smile’s automatic sound processing and noise reduction, without SoundSonic360. We’ll explain what that means for the situations you find hardest.
I already wear Unitron. Is Moxi S-RX an upgrade?
Moxi S-RX follows Unitron’s Vivante and Blu hearing aids. It’s new hardware rather than a software update. If your current Unitron hearing aids are still working well, we’re happy to keep looking after them. Ask us whether moving to Moxi S-RX would make a real difference in the situations you find hardest.
How long does the battery last?
Unitron says Moxi S-RX is designed for all-day listening, and its product datasheet lists an expected operating time of 18 hours on a full charge.* Most people charge overnight and wear them all day. Streaming and noisy places use more battery, so we’ll set them up and show you how to get the most from each charge.
Will Unitron work with my phone?
Smile hearing aids use universal Bluetooth® connectivity, so they connect directly to most iPhone and Android phones, and to many other Bluetooth® phones, for calls and streaming. We’ll check your phone and pair it with you at your fitting.
Can I get help with the cost?
Eligible pensioners, veterans and some other groups may receive hearing aids through the Australian Government Hearing Services Program, and many private health funds offer rebates on hearing aids. See our Subsidies & rebates page, or ask our team to check for you.
Do you only fit Unitron?
No. Fidelity Hearing Centre is independent. We fit hearing aids from several leading manufacturers and recommend whichever one best suits your hearing, ears, budget and lifestyle.
